Billing Information

Insurance Billing:  Dunbar Medical Associates, PLLC participates and bills most insurance companies.  It is patient’s responsibility to submit a current insurance card at time of services to have on file for billing purposes.  Eligibility will be processed with insurance companies when services are rendered.  However, if incorrect insurance information is given and services are denied, fees will become patient responsibility.

 

 

Third Party Participation Agreements:  Dunbar Medical Associates, PLLC has written participation agreements with most major insurance carriers in our area.  When scheduling an appointment, please verify participation with your health plan in order for you to receive maximum financial benefits offered by your plan.

 

 

Fees:  Dunbar Medical Associates, PLLC determines fees by analyzing charge information provided in publications at both the national and regional levels.  The provider determines the level of service rendered and charges subsequently billed.  Services vary depending upon the type of service, the level of care, length of visit, and the complexity of encounter.
